Joining Sutton Arts Council has many benefits.
- It can put your organisation in touch with others in the Borough with similar interests.
- You receive a regular newsletter that includes information about members’ activities.
- You are invited to participate in at least two open meetings a year on topics of interest to the arts community.
- You are eligible to apply for grants to help you further your group’s aims.
- You can benefit from discounts on the hire charges for the Borough’s theatres.
- You have the opportunity to publicise your activities in a number of ways.
On payment of an annual subscription (currently £10 for groups and £5 for individuals), any person or organisation actively interested in the arts in the Borough is eligible for membership in one of the following categories:
- affiliate membership: for arts and heritage groups the majority of whose own membership resides in the Borough
- associate membership: for arts and heritage groups who are involved in the arts in the Borough but the majority of whose members live outside the Borough
- individual membership: for anyone who supports the aim of the Arts Council and has links with Sutton.
